The Poison Glorious represents the pinnacle of Shimano's exclusive JDM series for freshwater artificial lure rods. Developed in collaboration with top Japanese competitive anglers, this flagship model embodies the relentless pursuit of perfection demanded by high-level fishermen.
A statement of intent – built for those who desire precision, performance, and perfection. Designed for those seeking cutting-edge innovation and extreme performance, the Poison Glorious offers unparalleled precision, responsiveness, and balance in the most competitive fishing environments. This third generation is the evolution of high-performance rods, refined through countless hours on the water.
The Poison Glorious achieves exceptional performance thanks to Shimano's most advanced technologies. The Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X structure significantly reduce twisting and blank ovalization, maximizing casting accuracy, strength, and responsiveness. It provides unmatched control with heavy lures or when extracting fish from obstacles, also ensuring precise jigging and long-distance presentations.
Even for finesse presentations, the solid carbon Taftec Infinity tip maintains excellent control with great strength and flexibility. The Ultimate Blanks Design (UBD) creates smooth transitions in the blank, maintaining responsiveness and improving fluidity for advanced rig control.
The Full Carbon Monocoque construction transmits subtle vibrations directly to the hand, offering unparalleled sensitivity and perception. Each rod is equipped with lightweight Shimano X-Guide rings to optimize line flow and casting performance, and custom CI4+ reel seats for each model. The high-density MuscleCarbon increases stiffness while keeping the rod ultra-lightweight.
