An economical travel rod for nanojig style fishing, composed of 4 sections and compact in size for easy transport. The slim and soft blank with a solid tip is perfect for casting ice jigs up to 1 gram and their pelagic retrieval with slow manipulation. The shaft is flexible and elastic, preventing small perch and whitefish from tearing their lips during weighing, as well as preventing a thin line from breaking when larger fish bite. The Blue Bird Nano Compact stands out from other rods in the line for its shortened carbon fiber handle that reduces weight and allows short casts with one hand. The shaft is made of SkyFlex 30T carbon fiber, with analog TZ guides.
