This revolutionary 8-strand braid (7 Dyneema fibers and 1 Gore fiber) combines the performance of GORE fiber with the mastery of SUFIX's strand braiding technology. This precision construction results in a perfectly round and regular braid and improves resistance both in linear tension and at the knot. GORE fibers are made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). PTFE is an inert material, insensitive to saltwater, all chemicals, and UV rays. GORE has a very low coefficient of friction, which gives this braid superior abrasion resistance, reduced noise and vibrations, and naturally, enhanced casting performance. Suitable for all casting techniques both in saltwater and freshwater.
