The very popular Zodias is part of the exclusive Shimano JDM range and combines advanced design, fast actions, and leading carbon processing technology with a mid-range accessible price. This visually impressive range opens many possibilities for the artificial lure angler.
Designed and developed in Japan, you will immediately recognize how suitable the Zodias is for European predator fishing. Light in hand and wonderfully balanced, the inclusion of Shimano's exclusive Monocoque handle enhances feel and responsiveness, transmitting every touch and movement directly to the hand. However, when a fish is hooked, the hidden power truly comes into play, offering control and strength in equal measure.
Shimano's Hi-Power X technology is at the heart of the Zodias rods and increases energy transfer through the rod for greater casting accuracy and distance, while reducing blank twist for better control during fish fights. The inclusion of a Monocoque carbon rear grip and a custom-designed CI4+ reel seat increases sensitivity, providing remarkable feedback during use. Fuji guides add further quality to this high-performance range. The ULS2 model features a TAFTEC ALPHA carbon tip for extreme sensitivity. From the lightest Ultra Light Spinning models, perfect for Drop Shot fishing and light lures, to Heavy action Casting models designed for heavy shads, Crankbaits, and Spinner Baits, there are 7 Spinning and 6 Casting models to cover all your fishing needs.
