The Klor hook model was designed and created by Danny Fairbrass to be an aggressive, strong, fast hook with excellent hooking potential using various types of terminal tackle. It is incredibly strong and has proven suitable for catching large carp in extreme conditions, both domestically and abroad. The Klor has a very aggressive shape (even more so than our Kurv Shank hook), with the point aligned with the eye, which causes it to turn quickly and hook the carp's mouth. Thanks to the aggressive bend of the shank and the inward-facing eye, Kickers or shrink tubing can be omitted. It is suitable for use with soft terminals, sleeved braided lines (if the sleeve is removed near the hook), and for the Combi rig. The point is long, ultra-sharp, and slightly curved back, ensuring the best possible hook hold. Additionally, it is less likely that the hook point will be damaged by nuisance species such as shrimp and small fish that move the bait on the bottom, especially when fishing over gravel. The wire is thick, resulting in a very strong hook that can be used in extreme conditions with weed or obstacles, even when using braided line, without fear of bending. During testing, Danny caught carp over 60 pounds in wild French waters full of obstacles.
