Like the original Krank hook, the Krank Choddy was designed by Tom Dove, Korda's product development manager, after noticing that the shape of the shank perfectly matched chod rigs. While having the same shape as the original version, the Krank Choddy features an eye turned outward: this way, when used with a stiff material like Mouth Trap, a continuous curve is created along the entire length of the leader and the hook shank, which is the best possible chod setup. With a very sharp, slightly offset beak point and a very wide gape, this hook increases the hooking potential and ensures a good hook hold. It is an extremely strong model, suitable for use in fast-flowing waters or areas with lots of weeds. The model is available with or without a barb and in sizes 4, 6, 8, and 10. Each pack contains ten hooks.
