This kit contains everything you need to assemble a marker rod, including the SLR marker float, the Marker Stem, and the Marker Lead Probe. The SLR Marker Float is super buoyant and, instead of plastic, this model is made from high-quality balsa wood: if the line passes through the lead (the Marker Stem is recommended for optimal results), the float will resurface every time. Once it lands on the surface, it is easily visible thanks to the phosphorescent orange tail. It also offers a very wide casting range due to its reduced diameter and high flight stability, reaching the maximum distance based on the rigs mounted on the rod. Specifically designed for bottom surveying, this model offers greater sensitivity compared to traditional leads. With a unique design and no coating, this lead transmits many more vibrations to the rod, especially when used with a trace, and helps to probe the chosen area by revealing the composition and cleanliness of the bottom. The absence of coating helps identify the type of bottom it is being used on, as scratches suggest the presence of gravel while clay residues indicate a sandier bed. The kit also includes a Marker Stem with a clip that allows easy attachment and detachment from the line, enabling quick changes of the float size to reach greater distances. At the opposite end, there is a low-friction ceramic ring designed to allow the line to slide smoothly, ensuring the float resurfaces when necessary. This product features a super buoyant rubber section that prevents contact between the ceramic ring and any debris on the bottom, ensuring the float reappears. Each package contains: 1 x SLR Marker Float; 1 x Marker Stem; and 1 x Marker Lead Probe of 3oz/84 g.
