Interchangeable and made of pure tungsten, our new Dark Matter Balancing Weights are an absolute innovation in the sector: they have been created to be placed above a size 11 swivel and to counterbalance a floating bait rigged on the rig. They are ideal for use in combination with Chod, Hinge Stiff, and Spinner rigs, offering a valid alternative to tungsten putty. Made of pure tungsten, with a much denser consistency compared to other rubber products containing tungsten, they have an incredible size/weight ratio that helps give a cleaner appearance to the final rig. Dark Matter Balancing Weights can be used to counterbalance most rigs with pop-ups and floating baits, a particularly useful feature since achieving the necessary weight to sink the pop-up with Naked Chod rigs can be difficult. They can be quickly replaced, making them perfect when trying to balance rigs, they do not wear out, and are reusable, so they will last forever if not lost. They are available in 5 different weights (from 0.30 g to 0.50 g), and each has a laser-engraved identification number indicating its weight; for example, the 0.30 g weight shows the number 30. A "mixed pack" containing 15 weights (three of each size) is also available, allowing you to try all the weights to find the one that suits your chosen rig. Additional information: Freshwater shrimp are attracted to tungsten, and anglers fishing waters inhabited by this species are well aware of this. Dark Matter Balancing Weights are the perfect solution to this problem: the shrimp will not be able to remove the weights from the rig. Tip: They fit ALL Korda size 11 swivels. Every effort has been made to control the tolerance of Korda size 11 swivels; however, inserting them by hand can still be difficult. For this reason, we recommend using a Krimp tool to correctly insert the Dark Matter Balancing Weight onto the swivel. Note: They may not be compatible with size 11 swivels from other brands as dimensions may vary. Tungsten is a very rigid material with little flexibility, which makes it incompatible with larger swivels.
