Thanks to the tungsten granules in the outer coating, this coated braid is very heavy and stays firmly on the bottom. The Dark Matter Coated Hooklink is also very soft and follows the contours of the bottom. The coating is quite durable: it does not break or create annoying flakes when tied, but can also be easily removed when not needed to use only the soft underlying braid. It is a semi-rigid coated braid that can be used for various rigs and is also strong enough to be used in the presence of weeds or obstacles. It is available in weed green or gravel brown colors to match the bottom, and in versions with a breaking load of 18 lb or 25 lb. It is supplied in 10 m spools.
