This product incorporates our No-Trace System and allows you to create a completely secure rig to use on leadcore and other leaders of similar diameter, such as those in the Dark Matter range. In case the line breaks above the leader knot, with this system the terminal tackle can easily detach from the leader, leaving only your traces to the fish without continuing to drag the leader or, even worse, the lead. Even for safer helicopter rigs with leadcore, there has always been a risk that algae or debris accumulate on the knot, preventing the beads from sliding over it and thus freeing the terminal tackle. However, the No-Trace Beads solve this problem: as soon as they detach from the Chod Sleeve cone, which holds them in position on the leader during casting and normal use, the small hole on the side allows the bead to completely detach from the leader, allowing the size 11 Ring Swivel (not supplied with this system) to position itself over any leadcore knot or splice. On the lead section there is a Barrel Bead that acts as a buffer. The entire system can be easily assembled on the leader and used both for chod rigs and standard helicopter rigs, such as the Heli-Safe System. Each Leadcore Chod Safety System contains: 8 Chod Sleeves, 8 Barrel Beads, and 12 No-Trace Beads. Additional spare No-Trace Beads are sold separately.
