The choice of Krimp size should be based on the type of rig: if it is too large, it may slip and not stay in place. Size S (0.6 mm) is suitable for materials such as Mouth Trap, the 25 lb/11 kg Boom, or even coated stiff braids like Hybrid. Size L (0.7 mm) is suitable for super stiff materials such as the 35 lb/16 kg Boom or ultra-heavy monofilament lines.
