Crimping is an excellent method for achieving clean and strong connections, especially when using stiffer and/or thicker materials that can be difficult to knot effectively. It also allows you to consistently achieve the desired terminal length, which is particularly useful for Chod rigs. Doing it well when crimping something, so that it does not slip or weaken the material, is always a concern, but the Mini Krimp Tool alleviates this issue as it is specifically designed for use with the three sizes of Krimp we sell – the jaws are marked with XS, S, and L to indicate the slot that should be used for each size. When the Krimps are matched with an appropriate terminal diameter, the Mini Krimp Tool will allow you to create the perfect connection every time. It is made of mild steel with rubberized handles to provide a good grip and ensure the right amount of pressure is applied to the Krimp. Additionally, it features a cutter in the jaws that is useful when building rigs. The Mini Krimp Tool is very compact, so it fits easily into your Tackle Box or similar, yet still provides enough leverage to always assemble the perfect crimped connection.
