The Hybrid Stiff coated braid can be used for any rig and offers a very stiff option with a coating that can be removed to reveal the soft inner braid. It is an excellent solution for creating any "combi" style rig with both stiff and soft sections. The coating is very stiff and can be knotted or even crimped while remaining intact; it can also be removed if necessary. It has very high knot strength and is abrasion resistant. Using steam, it can be made completely straight and used to create a boom. It has a breaking load of 20 lb and is available in algae green or gravel brown colors. It is supplied in 20 m coils.
