The Hybrid Stiff coated braided line can be used for any rig and offers a very stiff option with a coating that can be removed to reveal the soft braided core. It is an excellent solution for creating any "combi" type rig with both stiff and soft sections. The coating is very stiff and can be knotted or even crimped while remaining intact; it can also be removed if necessary. It has very high knot strength and is abrasion resistant. Using steam, it can be made completely straight and used to create a boom. It has a breaking strength of 20 lb and is available in weedy green or gravel brown colors. It is supplied in 20 m spools.
