The safest “bead” for releasing Chod and Helicopter rigs on Leadcore or lead-free Leader setups allows securing rigs for longer casts while sliding freely in case of line breakage, preventing the carp from dragging part of the rig and avoiding material loss in the environment.

The central stop bead slides on the line support to grip mainlines from 0.28-0.40mm for a secure stop on monofilament and braided lines. Under controlled pressure, the bead slides from the conical central block to allow a terminal to safely pass over it.

The Naked Helicopter Beads are tungsten-impregnated, dense, and also attach to the line behind the rig’s end for better concealment, especially during slow sinking.

The Naked Helicopter Top Bead can be reused by threading it onto Maggot Needles (T8815) and remounting it on a new rig.
