The original Korda Lead Clip is designed to release the lead when necessary, such as when it gets snagged or when the fish passes through a dense weed bed. Unlike the Quick Release Lead Clip, the original model does not allow the lead to detach easily, thus preventing unnecessary lead loss and ensuring the carp's safety only when truly needed. The plastic retention arm is strong enough to withstand even the hardest cast with a heavy lead without breaking, while the rear end of the main body of the Lead Clip features knurling that allows the Tail Rubber to detach only when required. The ease with which the clip releases the lead can be adjusted by pushing the Tail Rubber deeper or shallower. To allow the lead to detach easily, ensure the clip cannot slide freely on the line. The clip is also designed to be compatible with a size 8 swivel, which will remain in place. This semi-fixed setup is extremely secure and, if used correctly, allows the carp to shed the lead even if the line breaks. Available in algae, silt, gravel, and clay colors, it is sold in packs of ten pieces.
