The Basix Spod/Marker Braid can be used both for marking and baiting with a spod/Spomb. This floating braid is perfect for use on a marker rod, as it has no elasticity, allowing you to better feel the lead on the bottom and determine its characteristics. Its reduced diameter relative to the 30-pound breaking strain enables long distances with minimal effort. You can use it without a shock leader thanks to its breaking strength, simplifying its use in fishing. Basix Spod/Marker Braid is made of a tightly woven braid with a smooth, silk-like surface, which also helps with casting distance. It is a discreet camouflage green color and comes on 200 m spools. Create a backing on your reel, thus avoiding filling the spool with hundreds of meters of expensive braid that will never see the light of day!
