The BASIX Mainline is an all-purpose fishing line that offers a fantastic quality-price ratio with a very high level of performance. It is highly abrasion-resistant and tough, yet also excellent for casting and has good knot strength. It has a relatively low level of elasticity, which helps when it comes to feeling the lead on the bottom. This line is 'camo green' in color, meaning it blends very well with any lakebed. The BASIX MAINLINE is available in 12lb or 15lb, covering most carp fishing situations, and comes on 500m or 1,000m spools, so if you have reels with smaller capacity or only use two, there is no need to buy a larger spool than what is actually necessary to fill them.
