The original Bouglé was last produced in 1939, and many collectors consider the reel to have reached its functional and aesthetic peak, although few reels were made that year. Now, the 1939 Bouglé Heritage Reel series pays tribute to those rare originals. These reels feature the proven Mark II control mechanism and are finished with a dark gunmetal anodizing, reminiscent of the original. They are now available in a wide range of sizes, perfect for any application.
