QM1 Speed Stop 4" 16 (0.17mm)
Guru 4" QM1 Speed Stop Rigs - Leaders
The Guru Speed Stop Ready Rig has an optimal hair length, specifically developed to perfectly present the most popular hook baits. The hair end is finished with a Speed Stop at the tip, which keeps the bait fixed on the hair. Additionally, on the hook bend there is a small piece of 0.3 mm micro silicone, which holds the bait in place and ensures the rig functions perfectly.
The QM1 Speed Stop Ready Rigs are the ultimate choice among commercial fishing leaders, perfect for a wide variety of species and fishing situations. Ideal for all running rig techniques, such as feeder and bomb fishing, and also for some fixed rod fishing situations. This rig works perfectly when targeting larger species, such as carp, F1, bream, and tench, etc.
Using the Speed Stop is quick and simple. Just insert a Speed Stop needle into the thicker end of the Speed Stop, then push the thinner end of the Stop through the hook bait, making sure the Stop passes completely through the bait and rests flat against it. Then simply remove the needle and the bait will be perfectly rigged and ready to use.
The QM1 hook features a unique strongly in-turned shape, a short shank, and an incredibly sharp beak point, which ensures an extremely secure hook hold and reduces the number of lost fish. All QM1 hooks are coated with PTFE, which greatly improves the durability, sharpness, and longevity of the hooks.
Our Guru QM1 Speed Stop Ready Rigs are available in lengths of 4” and 15”, covering a wide range of different fishing situations and hook bait options. The 4” Ready Rigs come pre-tied on our reliable rig boards. The 15” SMWG Ready Rigs come pre-tied on our handy leader winders, which fit perfectly into the Guru Rig Box, improving organization and efficiency.
For sizes 10, 12, and 14, we have improved the diameter options to offer even more choice in these larger sizes (see the size chart below for options and diameters). All our Ready Rigs are tied with our proven N-Gauge thread, which for many years has been a favorite among recreational anglers, coarse fishermen, and competitors.
