Specifically developed for long-distance fishing enthusiasts, the GTL 8000 features a long, tapered spool dedicated to casting, with high-engineering technical specifications typical of Scope reels.

The GTL 8000 is now the perfect partner when fishing at the limit – with a slow line oscillation for ultra-low friction line release, facilitating long-distance casting – with the added advantage of greater capacity and suitability for long-range boat fishing, where it is necessary to drop the line hundreds of meters away – ideal for 9-10' rods and also for 12-13' rods.

Fast Drag: half turn of the spool free or resistance action during the fight
Waterproof sealed drag with carbon washers
Foldable handle with one-touch spring
Rubber protection strips to eliminate tangles or debris during boat drops
Double propulsion roller to reduce line twist
12 stainless steel bearings + 1 ball bearing
Main shaft and gear in stainless steel
Interchangeable handles in black and wood
Honeycomb spool for weight reduction
Cast clip
High-performance, long-term engineering with saltwater protection
