The Super Wide Gape Long Shank was developed with the intention of creating the most modern and advanced carp hook, combining key elements from the most effective models in terms of catches, for use with the most popular current rigs. We started with a long shank hook, renowned for its secure holding properties, to which we added a slight but wide curve along the shank, finished with an inward-turned eye, ensuring the hook rotates instantly once inside the carp's mouth, positioning itself for a perfect hook set. A wide profile was also necessary to give the point more chance to grip inside the fish's mouth. Finally, a super sharp beak point ensures that once hooked, the hook remains in place and significantly reduces the chances of the fish shaking it off. These elements have never before been combined in a single carp hook, and the result is devastating! These hooks are perfectly suited for Ronnie/Spinner style rig presentations as well as all types of sinking and pop-up presentations.
