The Super Wide Gape was born from many long discussions with our consultants and other highly experienced anglers. The idea that maintaining the widest possible profile when building a rig can translate into higher chances of hooking a carp is a concept pursued by many anglers, and for this reason, we decided to design a hook with an even wider gape than our popular Wide Gape and Stiff Rig models. Introducing the "Super Wide Gape," a hook with a wide and long curve, a super sharp beak point, and a wider gape than any other hook we have produced before. Tests have shown that even on the simplest terminal rigs, this hook is an incredibly lethal fish-catching weapon and has been proven in tough conditions with some very large fish!

With such a wide profile, once the fish has sucked in the rig, at the moment of expulsion the hook point is so exposed that the chances of it catching in the fish's mouth are significantly increased, allowing you to worry less about the rig mechanics and focus more on choosing the right spot.
