Our original Ranger pod has been part of our range for many years due to its immense popularity. Thanks to developments in construction technology and materials, we are now able to offer an improved new version, the Ranger MK2. The MK2 pod is available in both 3-rod and 4-rod versions and benefits from many of the key features of the original Ranger, but with a number of improvements that help make it one of the most versatile pods ever! • New improved leg fixing mechanism – no need to fully unscrew the legs to change their angle (just 2 and a half turns) • Stronger legs to reduce flexing • Legs now have 6 angle positions (previously only 3) • Ability to convert from the standard Ranger configuration to a Quad Pod style (4-legged tripod) by moving the leg blocks from the two ends towards the center, using special adapters supplied • Longer standard legs – 40 cm, 45 cm & 120 cm • 4 “Karabiner” type fixing points to secure the pod to the ground • New “Double Cam” levers • New black tubes and frame for great stability • All threads are brass (to prevent oxidation) • Supplied with a redesigned carry bag with a zipper around the entire perimeter and a large front pocket, making it easy to place the pod inside • Perfect for all types of terrain and waters, including the largest lakes and rivers on the continent • Buzz bar for 2 rods available separately
