This interesting new design features the much-discussed Slik Clip, a special dual-function clip that offers a great advantage over other similar bobbin styles. The Slik Clip is designed to allow you to position the main line in its base, thus securing the clip itself to the line. This distance increases the sensitivity of the bobbin and is very effective when fishing with slack line, as it is impossible for your line to move even a few millimeters without the bobbin moving. Once there is tension on your line, it will come out of the clip and become free to slide through the central section of the Slik Clip, which means that if the bite turns into a "drop," your bobbin will still be attached to the line. Only when you lift the rod from the bite alarm will the bobbin completely detach from the line. Another benefit of the Slik Clip is that the tension is fully adjustable, allowing you to change the diameter of the line used without the clip losing its grip. Alternatively, this clip can also be used in the traditional "free running" mode, letting the line slide freely.
