Creed is a series of rods specifically designed to target large predators mainly in freshwater (Marble Trout, Asp, Pike, Catfish, etc.) but also finds perfect application in saltwater spinning fishing for species such as Amberjack, Dentex, Barracuda, or large Sea Bass. The basic concept behind the design of this rod series starts from the fundamental features of the X1 rod series, enhanced in some key aspects. First and foremost, the new Creed rods stand out for the quality of the carbon fiber used for the blank. In this case, Favorite has chosen a high modulus Japanese carbon, the Toray 40T. An absolutely top-quality fiber, capable of guaranteeing unique resistance and sensitivity performance while ensuring incredible lightness. During manufacturing, as with many rods in the Favorite range, the blank is not ground, intentionally leaving an external spiral relief that ensures the best reactivity and strength of the entire rod while maintaining incredible tip sensitivity. The screen printing and varnishes on the rod have been deliberately minimized to avoid excessive weight. The final result is an ultra-light rod, perfectly balanced, fast, and powerful. The Spigot joint of the new Creed rods is one of the strengths of this series. The millimetric precision of the diameters of the two sections allows a solid and secure joint, ensuring maximum adhesion between the two parts. The perfect coupling of the two sections guarantees the ideal stiffness of the rod, giving the angler the sensation of using a one-piece rod. Another distinctive feature of these rods is the handle. Made of very high-quality EVA, solid to the touch and wear-resistant. The shape has been expressly designed to facilitate fishing action. The rear length allows for easy long-distance casting, while the particular flared cut with a flat surface ensures perfect positioning on the forearm during the fish fighting phase. The ergonomic VSS reel seat with rear screw is perfectly integrated into the EVA handle, shaped to allow uncompromising grip. The guides of the Creed rods consist of ultra-light, latest-generation rings. Favorite has focused all its attention on the quality and performance of the blank in this rod series. To enhance these performances, while maintaining the goal of creating a rod with an extremely advantageous quality-price ratio, Favorite decided not to use the renowned Fuji guides, certainly prestigious, but developed an exclusive series of guides with an ultra-light frame and ultra-thin SIC ring. The result is identical to the renowned Torzite guides, with the same performance in terms of lightness, heat dissipation, and minimal line friction, but at a significantly lower price. The use of these guides on this series of rods with a very pronounced extra-fast action compensates for the tip's speed, allowing uncompromising casting performance.
