Favorite X1 PRO is the natural evolution of one of the greatest successes of this brand, namely the X1 model. For the creation of this product, exclusive to Italy, it is important to emphasize that it was developed using the selection of the best-selling actions and lengths of the X1, confident of once again gaining the favor of a large portion of enthusiasts.
It is called an evolution because the blank itself has improved in terms of performance, sensitivity, and responsiveness. The material is 30T carbon, effectively replacing the old 24T.
The guides have seen a reduction in weight and surface area, switching to an extra-smooth stone with a super low profile to reduce friction during casting, achieving longer distances and especially reducing friction points while the line is under tension during fighting, thus decreasing line overheating and loss of grip. The stone is mounted on gunmetal-colored rings, offering a more understated and lightweight design.
An important part of the work was to lighten the handle, which remains split but changes shape to enhance maneuverability and contact with the blank itself, improving bait placement, bait animation, and sensitivity.
Another stylistic innovation is the rod sock, which, when used together with the supplied bands, allows the rod to be transported even with the reel and line mounted in the guides without snagging or tangling the pieces. This solution was adopted based on our experience, tired of filling drawers with useless covers that had no real function for transport between home and fishing spots.
The X1 PRO will be recognizable on the racks of Italian stores by the silver band and the silver-green logo that outline a new, immediately recognizable profile.
