The Primal RAW CCC 9'0" #4 is a modern and high-performance fly fishing rod, designed to offer an excellent balance between lightness, sensitivity, and casting precision. The 9-foot configuration with a #4 line makes it particularly suitable for technical trout fishing, especially when delicate presentations with dry flies or light nymphs are required.
The blank utilizes CCC technology – Compressed Carbon Chain, a system that compresses the longitudinal carbon fibers more during construction, creating a denser, more resistant, and sensitive structure. This results in a rod capable of quick recovery after casting, limiting tip vibrations and significantly improving accuracy and tip control.
The structure is made with Toray 64MSI high-modulus carbon, combined with UHC – Ultra Light Helical Core technology and ANR – Amplified Nano Resin. Together, these materials produce a lightweight, flexibly stable, yet durable blank, capable of offering excellent sensitivity even in the most technical fishing situations.
The RAW CCC #4 also stands out for its ability to combine delicacy with reserve power: it is sensitive enough to accurately present a dry fly, yet maintains the reactivity needed for longer casts and fighting larger fish. The 4-piece construction makes it easy to transport and it comes with a fabric case and a rigid ABS tube with shoulder strap.
