The Primal Zone CCC 11' #3 is a fly rod designed for those seeking maximum control in European nymph fishing, where sensitivity, precision, and lightness truly make a difference.
The core of the rod features proprietary CCC technology – Compressed Carbon Chain, which uses a special external carbon coating to compress the longitudinal fibers more during the manufacturing process. The result is a denser, more reactive, and sensitive blank capable of transmitting even the smallest variations during the nymph drift with great precision.
The structure utilizes high-modulus Japanese Toray 64MSI carbon, combined with an ultra-light helically wound core in nano-resin, designed to increase torsional stability and reduce unwanted vibrations of the blank. This allows for excellent line control and drift management, especially in more technical Euro Nymph techniques.
One of the most interesting features of the Zone CCC is the high-sensitivity carbon handle, designed to transfer every minimal contact directly to the angler's hand. The ALPS machined reel seat completes a technical and modern setup, built to offer durability without adding weight.
With its 11-foot length and #3 line, this model offers excellent tip management and allows for very direct contact with the nymphs even at a distance. It is particularly suitable for river fishing, where drift accuracy and immediate bite detection are essential.
The 4-piece construction makes it easy to transport and it comes with a fabric cover and a rigid ABS tube with shoulder strap.
