GR 80 STREAMFLEX 10' #4 4PC
Greys GR80 Streamflex Fly Rod
The Greys GR80 Streamflex is one of the most appreciated fly rods by anglers worldwide. A range designed to deliver high performance, specific actions, and great precision, thanks to the combination of high-modulus carbon construction and 3M Powerlux 1000™ technology.
The GR80 Streamflex series further elevates performance, offering rods developed specifically for different fly fishing techniques: from the precision required in dry fly fishing to more specialized nymph fishing.
3M Powerlux 1000™ Technology
The core of the GR80 Streamflex is the 3M Powerlux 1000™ technology, an advanced resin characterized by an extremely high modulus, meaning its ability to resist deformation under load.
Its cutting modulus is about 60% higher than traditional epoxy resins, allowing for improved performance of carbon fiber composites.
This technology also helps address one of the weaknesses of carbon composites, namely their relatively low compression resistance, with an improvement of up to 30% compared to conventional fiber technologies.
The result is a blank that is more performant, precise, and responsive, designed to offer an excellent combination of lightness, sensitivity, power, and control.
