GR 80 TRAVEL 9' #5 6PC
Greys GR80 Travel Single-Handed Fly Rod
The Greys GR80 Travel combines the convenience of a 6-section travel fly rod with the performance of a traditional 4-piece rod. It is the ideal choice for those who enjoy fishing in remote destinations or simply need a compact, easily transportable setup.
Despite its 6-section construction, the GR80 Travel does not compromise on performance compared to the standard version of the GR80.
Performance and Versatility
The GR80 Travel is a progressive and fast-action fly rod, designed to deliver precision, speed, and power. It is a true all-round rod, perfect for trout fishing in rivers and streams, streamer fishing on larger waters, and coastal sea trout fishing.
For the blank, Greys uses the latest generation of 3M Powerlux 1000 Resin technology, a high-modulus resin designed to combine lightness, precision, speed, and power.
High-Quality Components
The GR80 Travel features single-bridge Recoil guide rings, lightweight, durable, and flexible, as well as a handcrafted aluminum reel seat with an anodized finish and a double locking ring designed to securely hold the reel in place.
The section markings facilitate correct alignment of the joints during assembly, allowing for quick and precise setup.
The AAA cork handle and hybrid composite material complete a setup designed for comfort and performance during long fishing sessions.
Easy and Safe Transport
The 6-section construction significantly reduces transport volume, making the GR80 Travel especially suitable for travel, trekking, and fishing in remote locations.
The rod comes with a Cordura transport tube, featuring internal compartments to keep each section separate and protected.
