The Ocea EX Fluoro Leader is a high-quality fluorocarbon leader that offers many advantages when fishing in clear waters for wary fish. Thinner than traditional mono and with a refractive index very close to that of water, making it virtually invisible, it is also incredibly abrasion-resistant and knots exceptionally well, even in larger sizes.
Whether you're fishing with braid or mono, you'll benefit greatly from using a leader made with the Ocea EX Fluoro Leader. Virtually invisible underwater, you'll immediately notice an improvement in strike rates, especially in clear waters, and its excellent abrasion resistance makes it strong enough to overcome underwater obstacles, hard bony mouths, and sharp fins.
The secret to the high performance of Ocea EX Fluoro Leader lies in its construction method. An inner core of soft fluorocarbon provides excellent knot strength, while a hard outer shell offers the abrasion resistance needed to handle challenging situations. Finally, a fluorine coating is added to provide a smooth surface finish that helps tighten knots properly without causing structural damage to the line.
