The Korda Krank hook has become synonymous with carp fishing since Tom Dove conceived the concept in 2014. Featured worldwide in videos such as Monster Carp and countless Masterclass and Thinking Tackle videos, the fantastic Krank X is now available in the Essentials range.
The unique shape of the Krank features a very wide opening with a short, curved shank. However, the main difference of this hook is the offset point, which significantly increases the potential for hooking. Used almost exclusively by Tom and Spooner on their Spinner Rig, this hook has contributed to numerous captures over the years.
Made with our "X" gauge wire, this version of the Krank X is extremely strong and durable, finished with a subtle black nickel coating. This hook is suitable for many fishing situations. The hook point is sharp and resilient, allowing you to catch more fish with the same hook in many scenarios: we always recommend checking it after each catch and replacing it if necessary.
The Essentials Krank X hooks are available in barbed and barbless versions, in sizes 2, 4, 6, and 8, with ten hooks per pack.
