KOMPETITION HIGH VISUAL MONOFILAMENT FLUORO GREEN 1000M 0.35MM
The Kompetition Mono is available exclusively to Korda retailers in Europe and will not be marketed in the United Kingdom.
Made to market specifications, our Kompetition Mono is a high-performance monofilament, colored in a bright fluorescent green and designed to offer exceptional visibility even in the most challenging lighting conditions.
The fluorescent coloring offers numerous practical advantages over traditional clear monofilaments: whether fighting a fish on a bright sunny day, struggling to spot the point where the line touches the surface, or following the trajectory of lines in the dark after a new cast.
This high-visibility coloring also proves valuable during fish retrieval in low light or darkness, situations where it is extremely difficult to monitor the line angle when the fish starts moving sideways. Once in the water, the monofilament remains clearly visible, making it easy to follow its path and distinguish it from the lines of other rods in use.
The breaking strength to diameter ratio is excellent: this allows the use of a strong and abrasion-resistant line even for long-distance casting, while significantly reducing both friction and overall weight.
In summary, the Kompetition Mono offers balanced performance and easy handling, thanks to relatively low elasticity and good sinking properties, features that make it an extremely versatile product suitable for any situation.
