The new 26 BASIA SURF represents the evolution of the long-distance surfcasting reel, equipped with a new large-diameter spool (MAX SIZE SPOOL), developed in perfect synergy with the new enlarged AIRDRIVE ROTOR. Both the front and rear diameters of the spool have been increased by about 10%, significantly improving the smoothness of line release during casting. Combined with the traditional 45 mm stroke typical of Daiwa, this configuration ensures a more stable, precise, and efficient casting feel, with a concrete increase in distance performance. AIRDRIVE BAIL The new AIRDRIVE BAIL uses a hollow structure with a reduced diameter, allowing a significant reduction in overall weight without compromising rigidity and strength. SCW – Slow Cross Wrap The SCW (Slow Cross Wrap) winding system optimizes the line arrangement on the spool, improving the release phase and reducing friction during casting.
