The Invictus CS-2 is based on the blank of the Catapult CS-4. This has been specially optimized to achieve even more casting power and power reserves. Additionally, the blank has been reinforced with a new carbon mesh, providing about 13% more strength "on top." Models up to 3.25 pounds feature very light and thin "Minima" guides. This significantly reduces the "sound" of the blank, which in turn positively affects casting accuracy. Thin SIC guides and heat dissipators from Seaguide are installed on the 12-foot 3.75-pound models and all 13-foot models. Except for the three "Boat" models, all rods have a 50 mm tip guide ("Boat" 30 mm). Furthermore, the handle is equipped with a FUJI TVS reel seat and an extra thin, continuous, non-slip "full shrink" wrap.
