By lengthening the shank, we made the Straight Point slightly longer than the Wide Gape and rotated the eye by 15 degrees. The most important design feature, however, is the straight, tapered, and incredibly sharp point. The end result is one of the most versatile and efficient hooks we have ever made.

Strength and durability were also key considerations during the design of this hook. We increased the gauge of the Japanese steel, making this hook as strong as the other X gauge hooks in our range. It has been forged and coated in PTFE to ensure prolonged durability while maintaining an extremely sharp point from the first use.

The versatility of the Straight Point was fundamental during the design process. Whether you are fishing with pop-ups on a Spinner or wafters on a D-Rig, this hook is suitable for you. They are available in intermediate sizes and can be used with most modern rigs on the market.

Straight Point hooks are available in sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 with and without barbs and come in packs of 10.
