AVID CARP VTX BITE ALARM SET (3+1): Superior Technology and Total Security
The Avid Carp VTX Bite Alarm Set (3+1) is a professional signaling system designed to deliver elite performance in any weather condition. This complete set includes three alarms and one receiver, supplied with hard clip-on protective shells, a lanyard for the receiver, and a dedicated screwdriver. Thanks to Bi-Directional Sensing technology, the sliding wheel offers 8 sensitivity levels, accurately distinguishing forward movements and “drop” bites. As a result, you will always have a perfect reading of what is happening beneath the surface, eliminating false alarms caused by wind or current. Our philosophy puts digital innovation at the service of your peace of mind during long sessions.
The distinctive feature of the VTX system is its Multi-light LED System combined with the security of the SafeGuard Anti-Theft system. Indeed, the dual high-visibility LEDs allow you to choose from 4 color options (Green, Blue, Red, Yellow) and include an optional night light function. Regarding security, the integrated anti-theft alert emits an acoustic signal if an alarm is forcibly switched off, while the receiver’s memory instantly identifies which rod recorded the last activity. Additionally, the VTX EPS receiver ensures stable signal transmission up to 150 meters, with the possibility to synchronize up to 8 alarms on a single receiver. In summary, it is a system that guarantees protection, range, and extreme versatility.
Developed to last over time, the VTX alarms feature a sealed shell that protects the digital components and drastically reduces power consumption (powered by 2 AAA batteries). The use of a piezoelectric speaker ensures clear and powerful tones, while a dedicated cyan LED promptly signals when batteries need replacement. Every detail is designed for maximum comfort: from soft-touch side buttons for LED and tone control to fine adjustment wheels for volume and sensitivity. The deep “ears” with rubber inserts ensure rod stability even during the most violent strikes, while the rigid 3/8” thread with locking ring prevents any unwanted rotation on the buzz bar. In conclusion, if you are looking for a set of alarms that combines reliability, style, and cutting-edge security technologies, the Avid Carp VTX is your winning choice.
