The Blockhouse concept emphasizes comfort compared to traditional bivvy and tent models, which are more suited to shorter sessions and more mobile fishing. When fishing in the same spot for 48 hours or more, the Blockhouse is the ideal 1 Man XL or 2 Man bivvy. The rectangular structure maximizes usable internal space and, with a maximum height of 205 cm, allows standing up to wash, change, stretch, and spend time comfortably, instead of being bent over or cramped inside a more traditional tent. Using the same continuous frame design as the Bank Life Gazebo range, there are no poles to position or connect. The frame extends to lock the Speed Up joints firmly in place, creating a shelter that is quick to set up yet incredibly strong. The proven double-leg design offers exceptional resistance in extreme conditions where single-pole shelters repeatedly fail. The Blockhouse can comfortably accommodate a Wide or Emperor bedchair with plenty of remaining space or can fit two Standard bedchairs with 80 cm between them, allowing it to double as a true 2-person tent. Now equipped with a cross-frame porch system for better weather protection, along with ventilation panels on all sides and a continuous, durable waterproof cover, the Blockhouse creates an effective barrier against unwanted snakes, spiders, or rats, making it one of the most practical and versatile bivvies ever designed.
