Rod 26 Zodias Casting 1.93m 6'4" 3.5-10g 2pc BFS
Recognized worldwide! The very popular Zodias is part of Shimano's exclusive JDM range and is designed for predator anglers who demand the best from their gear. With its stealth matte finish and unmistakable Japanese style, this range opens endless possibilities to target pike, perch, zander, and more with precision and confidence.
Originally designed in Japan for black bass fishing, the new Zodias has been further refined to deliver superior performance to lure anglers in freshwater across Europe. You will immediately notice the improved balance and lightweight feel in hand, allowing you to fish longer and with greater accuracy. From finesse presentations to power fishing with large lures, Zodias offers uncompromising versatility.
At the heart of the Zodias range is Shimano's Hi-Power X carbon technology, which reduces blank twist, increases casting accuracy, and improves power transfer. This results in longer, more controlled casts and precise presentations, even with light braided lines.
Every detail is designed with the angler in mind. The lightweight CI4+ reel seat works in synergy with the Carbon Monocoque handle to increase sensitivity, allowing you to feel even the slightest taps. It keeps the rod light in hand during long sessions, ensuring a secure reel attachment and direct feedback.
The matte blank finish further reduces weight, while smaller Fuji Alconite guides with optimized spacing ensure balance, line protection, and smooth performance with thin braided lines.
Available in 4 casting and 9 spinning models, the range covers everything: from finesse techniques for perch and zander to power models for large lures targeting pike and asp. All rods are built in 2-piece format, making them versatile, portable, and suitable for many fishing situations.
