The BKK Raptor-X is a 3X hook whose design is inspired by one of the best BKK hooks ever produced: the Raptor-Z. The hook-shank proportions have been maintained to provide the Raptor-X with excellent holding power; however, the hook point is slightly straightened to increase hooking speed, further enhanced by the thinner wire profile and the Hand-Ground technology processing. Featuring a lighter wire and also available in very small sizes, the Raptor-X can be suitable for rigging smaller baits without altering their swimming action. The lightness of the hook structure is also increased by the Hand-Ground processing, where the hook is manually sharpened by removing material around the point. The Raptor-X's Bright-Tin coating aims to maximize its performance in terms of resistance to saltwater corrosion.
