ACE 646GR 42G FLOATING CARROT
The new ACE shooting heads – precision and ease without compromise
The famous ACE fly fishing heads are back, more performing than ever. After an intense development phase, we created the new Carrot taper, designed to offer smoother, controlled, and more powerful casts, even with large and heavy flies.
Each head is equipped with ultra-thin and durable rings at both ends and a printed identification system on the rings to easily connect the main line. The super sensitive and low-stretch core ensures you will feel even the lightest bite, improving sensitivity and hook setting.
The real leap in quality is represented by the Sliding Density™ construction of the sinking heads. Instead of combining materials of different densities, the line density changes gradually along the entire head, completely eliminating the hinge effect during casting. This creates a smooth and controlled loop, with extraordinary energy transfer and the ability to cast flies of any size with ease. Combined with the new Carrot taper, this technology makes ACE the easiest sinking heads to cast on the market.
The lines are also designed to blend with the environment. The sinking versions feature natural colors, between brown and green, to camouflage with the riverbed and reduce fish wariness. The Floating Carrot, with HiFlo™ coating, glides high on the surface and is easily visible thanks to its orange color. The Clear Float, instead, is transparent to minimize shadows and scare fish less, floating just above the water to reduce disturbance during the swing and facilitate rod loading.
With the new ACE heads, every cast becomes more precise, controlled, and natural, improving your chances of success in every fishing situation.
