SUPERFLO UNIVERSAL TAPER WF-4 RIDGE TECH 2.0
The Airflo Superflo Ridge 2.0 Universal Taper represents the modern evolution of medium-long head fly fishing lines. Floating and highly versatile, it is designed to perfectly suit any scenario, from small streams to large rivers.
Its universal taper ensures smooth casts and impeccable handling even with long leaders, offering a decisive advantage in catching the most wary fish. Excellent line control at any distance makes it an ideal choice for demanding anglers. Its performance shines not only in overhead casts but also in Spey and roll cast techniques, ensuring effective presentations even in tight spaces.
At the heart of the innovation is Ridge 2.0 technology: a special surface structure with parallel micro-grooves that drastically reduces friction, improving line glide and ensuring longer, quieter casts, as well as an extremely discreet lift from the water. Compared to previous versions, this evolution is even smoother and quieter during use.
The presence of the 3.6-meter Haul Zone—a slightly thicker section between the running line and the head—ensures greater control, more direct power transmission, and superior stability during casting. Combined with the ultra-smooth coating and thin running line, it contributes to exceptional casting performance and surprising distances.
Finally, the innovative polyurethane (PU) coating offers superior resistance compared to traditional PVC lines, ensuring durability and reliability over time even in the most demanding conditions.
