SG2 OFFSHORE PLUG POPPING 8'5'' 100-200GR
The SGS2 Offshore Plug by Savage Gear is an offshore spinning rod designed to effectively tackle modern open sea fishing techniques, offering an excellent quality/price ratio. Ideal for long and precise casts, this series is perfect for using popper, stickbait, metal jig, and soft plastic lures in the pursuit of large pelagic predators.
The blank is designed to ensure power and responsiveness, with an action developed to allow quick and secure hook sets even when fishing at great distances from the boat or shore. Thanks to its robust and balanced structure, the SGS2 Offshore Plug allows effective handling of various types of artificial lures and offers a significant power reserve during the fight with large fish.
This rod is particularly suitable for sea spinning targeting predators such as amberjacks, greater amberjacks, yellowtail, dolphinfish, kingfish, and tunas, ensuring control and reliability even in the most demanding conditions.
Quality components complete the structure: the SeaGuide Gold Label reel seat ensures solidity and stability, while the SeaGuide Gunsmoke saltwater guides promote perfect braided line flow. The reinforced high modulus Toray carbon blank offers great strength and sensitivity, while the high-density EVA handles provide comfort and a secure grip during casts and fights.
