Grand Mama is a fishing rod with a strong character and fast action, designed to uncompromisingly tackle the capture of large predatory fish. Intended for extreme conditions such as those of the Baltic Sea and large windy lakes, it combines power, reliability, and comfort to deliver high performance even in the most demanding situations.
The high-quality full-wells EVA handle ensures a secure and durable grip, while the fighting butt provides greater control during the retrieval of large fish. The titanium guides allow smooth line flow and offer excellent corrosion resistance, making the rod ideal for use in saltwater as well.
The blank, in an elegant dark olive green color with pink details, features a practical ruler up to 130 cm that allows quick measurement of even the most important catches. This series is particularly suitable for casting large flies over wide bodies of water and in strong wind conditions.
For each of our graphite rods, we indicate a rating of the carbon used: a higher value corresponds to a higher carbon modulus. This parameter is related to the tonnage of the carbon employed but is not the only determining factor. We use different blends of carbon and specific resins to achieve the desired action for each model. The rating therefore provides an indication of the main carbon used in the blank. In premium models, we also integrate graphene into the resin: these rods are recognizable by the Graphene logo.
