More powerful than the Acolyte Ultra 10ft Feeder, it is intended to be a popular choice in commercial fishing where large fish are the target but a modest casting weight is required. The 10ft Plus is excellent for hard-fighting fish such as crucians, bream, chub, and carp. The action is smooth and parabolic. The relatively short length of 10 feet (3.05 m) really helps to bring the fish much closer to facilitate netting. The SiC stand-off guides assist with line flow. It also comes with three super-thin carbon push-in tips of 1.5 oz, 2 oz, and 2.5 oz that blend perfectly with the blank. This rod is ideal when paired with feeders up to 45 g (1.5 oz) and will comfortably handle distances up to 40 meters. Greater distances can be achieved with balanced rigging and good casting technique. As with all rods in the Acolyte Feeder family, the 10ft Plus breaks down into two equal-length sections. This allows it to be comfortably carried in a case. Neoprene securing straps are also included to help keep everything safe during transport.
