The rod reduces to a total length of 1.9 m and can be left set up and conveniently stored in both hard and soft rod protective cases. Optimal monofilaments range from 6 to 10 pounds (2.7 kg to 4.5 kg) or 0.08 to 0.12 mm. Oversized guides assist with the use of shock leaders to achieve the required distance. The rod comes with 2 oz, 2.5 oz, and 3 oz tips, which are also available separately with 2.5 oz test curves.
