On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the legendary C.F.O., we present a commemorative edition produced in the USA that pays tribute to the iconic 1971 design by Stan Bogdan, inspired by the revolutionary ventilated door design patented in 1874 by Charles Frederick Orvis.
Elegant to display and outstandingly performing in fishing, this classic click-and-pawl reel combines simplicity and functionality in a timeless design. It reproduces the historic finish with a black frame and spool with refined silver accents, faithful to the aesthetic of the 1971 icon. The system is easily convertible for right- or left-hand retrieve.
Made with high-strength Type III anodizing, it offers excellent protection against wear and corrosion. Includes a protective neoprene spool case.
Note: the spool is not backward compatible with previous C.F.O. versions.
