"Special Edition" Sure Pro Purple is a multidisciplinary mainline with exceptional performance that perfectly suits almost all carp fishing, big game fishing, and sea fishing situations. The base copolymer used for this monofilament is a proven blend that has shown incredible toughness, meaning it withstands use and abuse. The Special Edition Sure Pro offers fantastic knot strength while maintaining a smooth finish and a soft feel that essentially makes it a great casting line. It is also a line that sinks well, a performance aspect that improves with use (like many copolymers) as it becomes more porous with slight use. The translucent purple blends surprisingly well with all types of aquatic environments as a consequence of water absorbing the red end of the spectrum first. This means the line soon loses the intense/vibrant visibility it has above the waterline and readily transforms into a natural "non-descriptive" shade, even in relatively shallow clear waters. This effect makes it useful for fishing from high swims or for anglers in fishing spots where it may be necessary to weave a boat between lines during a fishing session.
