The power of the Speedmaster is generated by a High Modulus Full Carbon blank, combined with Diaflash reinforcement in the handle section. This combination produces remarkable responsiveness, which is definitely noticeable when casting weights near the upper end of the casting rating or when facing strong wind.
The beautiful blue blank is equipped with corrosion-resistant, lightweight Fuji Fazlite K stainless steel guides that reduce friction. If you use braided line, you'll be pleased to know that the Fazlite coatings on the guides are also safe for braid. To accommodate large surfcasting reels, a Fuji DPS reel seat is perfectly positioned on the blank to allow maximum leverage with the lower hand during casting.
